How we roll in Bama!

One of my best friends from New York, Courtney, came down to visit. She is basically a sassy southern belle trapped in Yankee town. LOL.
And boy, what a weekend it was!!
Definitely a lot of memories were made!

SWEET HOME ALABAMA!
First order of business, after she arrived, we took her out to lunch. BBQ. Southern style.
 Chuckwagon BBQ in Madison!

 Not "OPERATING" but "OPERAT'N

First slice of Pecan Pie!
She said, " IT WAS HEAVEN ON A PLASTIC PLATE!"

After lunch we took her to see Downtown Huntsville. Not the greatest city in the country, but it is small and quaint with a lot of Alabama history buried underneath.
Big Springs Park!
A beautiful park located in downtown Huntsville.

The Square!

We window shopped at this really neat store called "Harrison Brothers" A lot of antiques and Halloween decor! LOL.

While walking through the town, Sophia found a ladybug!!

Later that night, after a NAP of course, Courtney, Lindsey and I all went out to Bridge Street in Huntsville. We did some shopping, goofed around and touched up our makeup in Sephora before we hit the bars!
We stopped in Anthropologie. I absolutely love that store. It's like a "Pinterest" store! Lot of unique clothes and household items.
All of us, rocking aprons. Can we say, Desperate Housewives?

 Classy Coco!
 Taking Tina!

 Lovely Lindsey!

Then we were off to Knuckleheads, a local bar in Madison. I was a little drunk. I can't help it.
I love Margaritas!
Operation Diet: FAIL

The next day, it was Evan's turn to entertain.
He took Courtney shooting! I stayed home with Sophia.

Then we all went out later on and had a few drinks.
Sophia was in a good hands.
A vacation in the south wouldn't be complete without some Moonshine!

According to Courtney, "It feels like the devil is inside me!!"
I am FORBIDDEN from Moonshine. Anyone from Luis's bachelor party knows why! HAHA!

Me and the hubby!! I love this picture.

And then all of this fun had to come to an end.
We stopped at Waffle House for breakfast. After Moonshine, it is just logical to have some Waffle House. The southern experience was complete!

We drove up with Courtney to Nashville to see her off. It was so sad! But, she will be back!

Miss Sophia, on our way to Nashville.

After the airport we had some lunch and hung out by the Parthenon in Nashville and let Sophia feed the ducks. A perfect ending! Then it was back to work and school on Monday! Wahhh!
